GURGAON, INDIA–Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide plans to continue its rapid expansion in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, with 24 hotels in the pipeline in addition to the 34 currently open.

The company aims to have 100 hotels open or under development  by 2015, with eight out of Starwood's nine brands represented in India.

In 2012, Starwood signed 10 new deals in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. In 2013, the company is scheduled to open two Aloft Hotels, a Westin, a Le Meridian and a Sheraton.
