SAN FRANCISCO—Pebblebrook Hotel Trust, which acquired the 116-room Hotel Milano, here, a year ago, plans to rebrand the property as the Hotel Zetta next month.

The hotel, which is located in close proximity to Union Square and the emerging South of Market neighborhood, will be managed by the Viceroy Hotel Group as part of Viceroy's Urban Retreat Collection. The hotel celebrates its 100th anniversary this year and features a lounge and 2,760 sq. ft. of meeting and event space.

Bethesda, MD-based Pebblebrook, a lodging real estate investment trust, has been an active acquirer of hotels in the past two years.
