OAK BROOK, IL—RockBridge plans to renovate a 172-room former Renaissance Hotel in this Chicago suburb into a Le Meridien in early 2014.

RockBridge, which is based in Columbus, OH, expects to invest $20 million in upgrading the 10-story building as part of the conversion process. RockBridge acquired the hotel from General Growth Properties.

The Le Meridien Chicago-Oak Brook Center will be managed by Wischermann Partners, Inc.

The upper-upscale Le Meridien brand is part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.
