VERNON HILLS, IL—American Hotel Register Co.and Hong Kong-based manufacturer/distributor Ming Fai International Holdings, Ltd. entered into a strategic alliance to better serve local and international hotels in the Asia-Pacific region.
The new strategic alliance will be known as Ming Fai-American Hotel Asia Pac.
From bath and body care products to operating supplies and equipment, from bedding and linen and terry to furniture and hardware, the new entity will provide customers with product and service solutions and operate under the leadership of Ming Fai’s existing management team. Additionally, a regional managing director from American Hotel Register Co. will work alongside Ming Fai staff.
Ching Chi Fai serves as chairman and executive director of Ming Fai. Larry Morse is president/CEO of American Hotel Register Co. He noted, “Asia Pacific is an incredibly important market because our main North American customers view it as a huge growth engine and are expanding there in big numbers. Our new collaboration with Ming Fai will bring us the footprint and exceptional capabilities we need to service our customers, as well as a valued and trusted partner to work together with around the world.”
American Hotel Register Co. purchased a minority stake in Ming Fai International Holdings Ltd. and Morse will join the Ming Fai Board.
