DALLAS, TX—Aimbridge Hospitality has taken over management of the Crown Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. The company took over on August 1, bringing the total number of managed properties in Aimbridge’s resort division up to 6.
In addition, John Whippen is the new GM. He has over 20 years of industry experience, including as a GM at resorts in California, New York and Virginia, and with brands such as Remington Hotels, Holiday Inn and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
The hotel features more than 500 guestrooms and suites with private balconies. Guests have access to over 20 pools, spas and fountains, two restaurants, game rooms, a fitness center and complimentary WiFi.
