ZAGREB, CROATIA—DoubleTree by Hilton has opened its first hotel in Croatia, here. Since it’s introduction to Europe in 2008, the brand has expanded to 34 hotels in nine European countries. This also marks the second Hilton-branded hotel in the country, following the Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik.
The 152-room hotel features floor-to-ceiling glass windows in all of its guestrooms and suites. It also offers more than 4,140 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space, a complimentary 24-hour business center, concierge services and state-of-the-art technology.
The property is home to OXBO Urban Bar & Grill, a new destination restaurant from Tomislav Niksic. It offers a contemporary menu with international dishes, but an emphasis on local Croatian cuisine. The restaurant has high and low seating, countertop dining and an open theater kitchen with a fire grill.
