MIAMI BEACH, FL—Menin Hotels, a full-service hospitality management company, will open the Gale South Beach & Regent Hotel, located here, on Dec. 4, 2012, after a $35-million restoration.
The new design for the joined boutique hotels was developed by architecture firm ADD Inc’s Miami office. It features imported white Italian marble, custom-designed light fixtures, leathers, rich European oak and walnut woods and a warm palette of tans, chestnut browns, cerulean blue and whites with metallic accents.
The lobby is home to a triple-recessed diamond walnut panel set behind a replicated mirrored art deco desk. A private, 5,000-sq.-ft. rooftop deck features sandblasted Carrera marble and an infinity pool.
The boutique property will also offer 87 green rooms and signature suites featuring Italian linens, marble bath appointments, 55-in. HDTVs offering 90 channels, iHome docking stations and fully stocked minibars.
Among the dining options, Dolce Italian offers Italian modern design, while The Regent Cocktail Club embodies a 1940s feel.
