MCLEAN, VA—DoubleTree by Hilton, based here, has opened an all-suite, upscale full-service hotel in Rochester, NY.
The 155-suite property—The Strathallan – A DoubleTree by Hilton—is owned and operated by 550 East Ave, LLC, under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.
The property recently completed a $10-million renovation. Each of the guest suites was completely redone to meet brand standards. They now include the brand’s signature Sweet Dreams sleep system; Wolfgang Puck in-room gourmet coffee and tea service; Crabtree & Evelyn Citron bath and body products; and new carpets, drapery, furnishing and wall coverings. Renovations were also made to the public spaces.
In addition to the two-room suites, The Strathallan also offers 2,492 sq. ft. of meeting space, a 24-hour business center, 24-hour fitness center, a lobby market and Char Steak and Lounge, which serves American cuisine.
This is the second DoubleTree by Hilton in Rochester.
