WASHINGTON, DC–In the aftermath of this week's national election, the Legislative Affairs Department of the American Hotel & Lodging Association is already focused on promoting the industry's agenda to the incoming 113th Congress.
Among the issues front and center at the AH&LA as it lobbies members on Capital Hill are travel promotion, visa waiver countries, comprehensive immigration reform, the Affordable Care Act scheduled to be implemented in a year, the National Labor Relations Board and Federal green travel protocols.
