The lobby of the DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Hobby Airport has been refreshed.

HOUSTON, TX—The 303-room DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Hobby Airport  opened here.

Formerly a Hilton, the hotel will continue to be owned and operated by 1859 Historic Hotels of Galveston, TX.

As part of the reflag, the property is undergoing an extensive renovation. This includes a new executive lounge on the ninth floor for Hilton Honors members, a private wine room in the Boardwalk Dining Room, an airline crew lounge and a refresh for all public areas, including the front desk and exterior entrance area. A renovation of guestrooms and baths will begin in January.

This is DoubleTree by Hilton’s 38th hotel opened year-to-date and a dozen more are forecast to open by year's end.
