CHICAGO—Hyatt Hotels Corp. third-quarter 2012 RevPAR increased 4.6%, compared to the same period a year ago.
The company opened five properties during the quarter. Hyatt Place hotels opened Delray Beach, FL, and San Diego, CA, while a Hyatt House debuted in Falls Church, VA. All three are franchises. Internationally, a Grand Hyatt opened in Kuala Lumpur during the period and a Hyatt Regency debuted in Chongqing, China. Both are managed properties.
