SCOTTSDALE, AZ–The Royal Palms Resort & Spa here has renovated its 30 casitas with custom-made furniture and other improvements.

Bathrooms were upgraded and a new color palette chosen for guestrooms that is more in keeping with the 119-room property's Mediterranean-style architecture. The upgrades to the casitas, which overlook Camelback Mountain, represent an estimated $1.2 million investment. The resort is managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts.
