Rhode Island's historic Weekapaug Inn has reopened following a $20 million investment.
WEEKAPAUG, RI–Ocean House Management, LLC, has reopened the historic Weekapaug Inn here, following a $20 million investment.
The 1899-era Inn, which has 27 rooms and four two-bedroom suites, is situated on a living estuary with views of the Atlantic Ocean beyond. It's been closed since 2007. Ocean House Management also owns the Inn's sister property, the 62-room Ocean House in nearby Watch Hill, RI. The restoration of the Inn was overseen by the Rhode Island Historic Preservation & Heritage Commission to ensure the work was historically accurate.
The Inn features two destination restaurants, an outdoor swimming pool and other recreational activities. Guests at the Inn have signing privileges at the Ocean House five miles away.
