AGOURA HILLS, CA—Davidson Hotels & Resorts completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of the Sheraton Agoura Hills Hotel.
The hotel was reflagged as a Sheraton in June 2011 when it was purchased by Wheelock Street Capital. Davidson, which has managed the hotel since 2000, oversaw the renovations.
The renovation included all public areas, including soft goods in the lobby area and conversion to the brand’s signature The Link@Sheraton Experience with Microsoft, providing complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access as well as PC workstations and printers. Technology upgrades continued into the hotel’s 17,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
The hotel’s restaurants, H2O Sea Grill and Liquid Lounge, were updated with soft goods, and the fitness center was updated with the brand’s health and fitness program, Sheraton Fitness Programmed by Core Performance. The outdoor pool and sundry shop also were included in the public space refresh.
“The Sheraton Agoura Hills benefits from an outstanding location in the rolling hills of the Santa Monica Mountains, near numerous business drivers, ” said Patrick Lupsha, Davidson's COO. “With the renovation completed, this hotel now is able to realize fully the advantages of being part of the Starwood family with the latest innovations by the Sheraton brand."
“The renovations were staged to minimize the impact to our guests, and as each phase was completed, the customer response grew increasingly enthusiastic,” said General Manager Matt Huss.
The property features 280 guestrooms equipped with Sheraton’s Sweet Sleeper beds, LCD flat-panel televisions, MP3 docking stations, oversize work stations with ergonomic chairs and complimentary high-speed Internet access.
The hotel is proximate the 101 business corridor and the headquarters of Farmer’s Insurance, Dole Foods, The Cheesecake Factory and JD Power and Associates, as well as Pepperdine University.
