HONOLULU, HA–Outrigger Enterprises Group has completed an eight-month, $18 million upgrade of its flagship property in Hawaii, the 524-room Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach Hotel.
Balconies on the property's oceanfront rooms and suites now have new glass railings to improve the views of the Pacific and Honolulu's iconic Diamond Head Mountain. Other exterior improvements include a remodeled swimming pool and expanded pool deck. Guestrooms now feature new carpet, furniture, draperies, paint, electronic door locks, in-room safes and improved soundproofing.
The 65-year-old, family-run Outrigger Enterprises Group has 31 properties in Hawaii that are owned and managed as well as managed for third-parties. In recent years, the company has been expanding aggressively in Asia Pacific to complement its Hawaii holdings.
