The Gettysburg Hotel will undergo a major renovation.

GETTYSBURG, PA—The Gettysburg Hotel, which is owned by Gettysburg College and managed by the Waterford Hotel Group, will undergo a multimillion-dollar renovation.

This is the first major renovation project for the 119-room property in almost 20 years. Upgrades will include changes to the lobby, which will feature a fireplace, communal table, televisions and added technology, as well as alterations to meeting and banquet spaces, guestrooms and the restaurant. The renovation plans will aim to incorporate the hotel’s history (it was established in 1797), as well as its affiliation with Gettysburg College.

Kinsley Construction Co. has been hired as the general contractor. Baskervill, an international firm, will provide design services, and DANAC Corp. of Bethesda, MD, will serve as project manager. In addition, REVPAR International offers hospitality advisory and asset management services to the hotel.
