BETHESDA, MD–Marriott International RevPAR for its North American hotels increased 7% in the third quarter, compared to the same period in 2011.
At the end of the quarter, the company's worldwide pipeline of hotels under construction, awaiting conversion or approved for development totaled more than 120,000 rooms, not including the 8,100 rooms from the recent acquisition of the Gaylord brand and hotel management business.
