MEXICO CITY, MEXICO—DoubleTree by Hilton has opened a newly renovated hotel here, in close proximity to the Zocalo, the city's business and cultural center.

The 96-room DoubleTree by Hilton Mexico City Airport Hotel is also close to Benito Juarez Airport. The property, which marks the DoubleTree brand's entry into the city, was formally an independent hotel. It is owned and operated by Operadora Restaurantes ITER, SA de CV under a franchise license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Worldwide.
