JAKARTA, INDONESIA—IHG unveiled plans for extensively expanding its distribution in Indonesia with an emphasis on growing its Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express brands.
Three new Holiday Inn hotels and nine new Holiday Inn Express hotels are in development in the country with openings scheduled between 2013 and 2016. In addition, IHG plans to open a Hotel Indigo in Jakarta in 2016, its first Hotel Indigo in Indonesia and second in Southeast Asia.
