John Hardy Group to Project Manage Tremont Plaza Suites Conversion

ATLANTA—A rapid one-year plan is currently underway to turn the existing independently branded Tremont Plaza Suites & Grand Historic Venue in Baltimore into an updated property. The project execution, managed by the John Hardy Group, will be completed by July 2013 for the Chartres Lodging Group.

The scope of the project includes the renovation of 300 guestrooms and a full conversion of the public spaces.

“We are proud to work with Chartres Lodging Group on this unique all-suites hotel, ensuring it will be efficiently and beautifully redesigned for the city of Baltimore,” John Hardy, president and CEO, The John Hardy Group, said in a statement.

Working together with local architects and interior designers Peter Fillat Architects and Studio Partnership, respectively, the John Hardy Group will manage all aspects of the conversion of this unique property including an adjacent meeting facility that dates back to the late 1800s called the Grand Venue.
