The 49-room Lexington Inn in Brooklyn is a conversion of a Quality Inn.

BROOKLYN, NY—The Lexington Collection of Hotels, Inns and Suites added a 49-room Lexington Inn here, after converting a Quality Inn located at 2473 Atlantic Ave. to the brand.

Kiran Patel is the owner of the Brooklyn property.

The Brooklyn Lexington Inn provides guests with a daily, complimentary continental breakfast and free wireless high-speed Internet access in guestrooms and public areas. Some guestrooms feature whirlpool bathtubs.

“New York is a great market for hotels and, as a still growing brand, we are thrilled to have two properties in the area,” said Bill Hanley, group president of Lexington.  

Hanley expects Lexington to add at least 15 properties in 2012. The Lexington brands currently include 25 properties either in the system or under development throughout the United States and China.

Lexington is part of Vantage Hospitality.Group, Inc., headquartered in Coral Springs, FL.
