FORT LAUDERDALE, FL—Benchmark Hospitality International added the 500-room Bonaventure Resort & Spa here to its management portfolio.

The hotel had been known as the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure. The change follows the recent acquisition of the property by the Hospitality Investing Group, LLC. The new owner also unveiled plans for an extensive renovation of the property.

The Woodlands, TX-based Benchmark now manages six properties in Florida.
