ORLANDO—Wyndham Orlando Resort will break ground in late August on a multimillion-dollar redevelopment.
Completion is projected for May 2013. All 613 guestrooms and suites will be totally refurbished and upgraded and will feature modern resort-chic decor. A porte-cochere will be added, as will a new lobby and 25,000-sq.-ft. conference center.
The new building will contain modern glass features and fixtures, a contemporary lobby bar and technology lounge, expanded conference center with 60,000 sq. ft. of meeting space with state-of-the-art technology and new dining and shopping options.
