FRANKFURT, GERMANY—Steigenberger Hotel Group will take over the Four Star Superior Hotel in Amsterdam come September.
The Four Star Superior Hotel is located at Schiphol, the fourth-largest airport in Europe. It will feature 440 rooms, including 10 luxury suites and one executive suite. Additionally, the property will offer three restaurants, a coffee and wine lounge and a sports and media bar. It will also feature an 800-sq.-ft. gym and health spa with a pool, an interior courtyard complete with a garden and terrace and 960 sq. ft. of conference facilities.
Mathias Heck, CFO of Steigenberger Hotels AG, said in a statement, “The Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam represents a strategic expansion of our presence at important transportation hubs in Europe.”
The property joins the Steigenberger Kurhaus Hotel in Den Haag-Scheveningen to become the company’s second establishment in the Netherlands, with more in the works.
