PALMA DE MALLORCA, SPAIN—ME by Melia has expanded with the ME London property, opening in September.
The 157-room hotel will become the fifth in the brand’s portfolio. It is the first UK hotel design project by Sir Norman Foster’s Foster + Partners.
The building is triangular with contemporary triangular, bay windows and the interior design is modern. The interior features an 11-story atrium. The black marble corridors wrap around the structure. The rooms extend from the center toward the street.
The Radio, the rooftop bar operated by NYC-based The ONE Group, will be offered at the hotel in addition to the brand’s signature penthouse, the SuiteME, which features two levels, a fire pit, private terrace, private lounge, separate dining room, three 3D TVs and a pillow menu.
