Wedge Hotels Acquires Four Hilton Properties

The Hilton Garden Inn in Odessa, TX, is one of four properties acquired by Wedge Hotels Corp.

HOUSTON—Wedge Hotels Corp. acquired four Hilton-branded hotels, expanding its portfolio as it pursues a strategy of growth through acquisition.

The acquired hotels are: The 104-roomHilton Garden Inn Huntsville South, Huntsville, AL; the 112-room Hilton Garden Inn Winston Salem Hanes Mall, Winston Salem, NC; the 88-room Hampton Inn and Suites Athens I-65, in Athens, AL; and the 100-room Hilton Garden Inn, Odessa, TX.

Kana Hotel Group is managing the properties.

Brian Stage, president of Wedge Hotels, noted the two properties in Alabama plus the North Carolina hotel were acquired from Kana, which also managed the properties. “We are very pleased with the collaboration between Wedge and Kana on these acquisitions and we look forward to continued partnership on future expansion of our portfolio,” he said.

Stage noted that Wedge Hotels is continuing to pursue a strategy of growth through property acquisition and is actively searching for new locations nationwide.

The Wedge hotel portfolio also includes hotels within the Marriott, Starwood, Wyndham and Radisson brands.
