MCLEAN, VA—The Embassy Suites Salt Lake—West Valley City has reached its maximum height and the structural framework has been completed.

The 162-suite, seven-story property was developed by West Valley Lodging Initiatives, LLC. It is located in West Valley City, UT. The hotel is undergoing a multimillion-dollar, multi-phase revitalization project.

The hotel will be the first Embassy Suites hotel to feature the brand’s most recent design concept, Design Option III. It is slated to open December 2012. Construction began in October of 2011.

The Design Option III concept decreases the amount of land needed and creates efficiencies in construction and operational costs. The design features a variety of side-by-side suites, shotgun suites and one-room suites, as well as a contemporary atrium area.

The hotel will feature complimentary breakfast and the two-hour Manager’s Reception every evening. The two-room suites feature a separate living area, private bedroom and wet bar with a microwave, refrigerator and sink. Additionally, they will feature two 42-in. LED/LEC HD TVs.

The property will offer 7,500 sq. ft. of meeting space, a business center, indoor saline pool, spa and fitness center. Shula’s Steak House will be an on-site dining option for guests and Fairbourne Station visitors.

Renascent Hospitality, partner of West Valley Lodging Initiatives, will manage the property. Taylor International, Inc. is the general contractor and provides construction management, while Trans-Marketing Group, Inc. provides logistics and purchasing services.
