DALLAS—Aimbridge Hospitality has been selected to rebrand and manage the former Breezes Runaway Bay Resort and Golf Club.

The property, acquired from SuperClubs by Sagicor Life Jamaica, will become the Jewel Runaway Bay Beach and Golf Resort. It will join the flagship Jewel Dunn’s River Beach Resort and Spa in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and the San Juan Water and Beach Club on Isla Verde, Puerto Rico under the Aimbridge resort division. Jewel Runaway Bay is the second hotel under the Jewel Resorts brand.

The resort features 266 rooms, some of which have balconies or plunge pools. Additionally, the property will offer a swim-up pool, concierges, evening Dive-In Movies with Jamaica Jerk Popcorn, dining under the stars, the resort’s signature cocktails, Gems entertainment staff, Bling! Nightclub and the Treasure Chest gift shop.

The property features three freshwater pools, such as a beachfront infinity edge pool with a swim-up bar; a Radiant Spa; four tennis courts; a game room with ping pong and pool tables; a fitness center with aerobics classes; meeting space that can accommodate up to 200 people; a water sports operation center offering snorkeling, ski boats, windsurfing and kayaking; and an 18-hole, par 72 Jewel Golf Course.
