ARLINGTON, VA—Interstate China Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to manage the 396-room Jiaxing Jin Jiang Xiang Jiadang Lake Hotel, its 10th managed or signed hotel in China.

The Jiaxing hotel is slated to open in 2013 and is the third Jin Jiang-branded hotel managed by Interstate China. Interstate China Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Interstate Hotels & Resorts and Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels Co. Ltd., a China-based hotel operator and developer.

The 396-room hotel is located in northeast part of Jiaxing in Zhejiang Province, about one hour’s drive from Shanghai, and is being built in a resort setting along Xiang Jiadang Lake. The hotel will have extensive meeting and conference facilities with nearly 26,000 sq. ft. of meeting and banquet space. The hotel also will include individual two-story villas to receive visiting dignitaries. Other hotel facilities include a western restaurant, Chinese restaurant, spa, fitness center, swimming pool and cigar bar.

Interstate China also operates five-star hotels in Beijing, Wuhan and Shanghai. The company has been selected to manage the luxury J Hotel at Shanghai Tower, anticipated to be China’s tallest hotel when it opens in 2015, as well the Citic Pacific Zhujiajiao Floating Hotel in Qingpu near Shanghai, scheduled to open in 2013.
