SALT LAKE CITY, UT—DoubleTree by Hilton opened a 241-room property here downtown,15 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport.

The hotel is situated near the LDS Temple, Historic Temple Square, Salt Palace Convention Center, Energy Solutions Arena, Family History Center, Gateway Shopping Center and other local attractions, business and tourist destinations.

Guest suites offer a private bedroom and living room, are fully equipped with high definition LCD televisions, a mini-fridge, microwave, two telephones and a work desk with an ergonomic chair. Other in-room amenities include complimentary wireless, high-speed Internet access; MP3-compatible alarm clocks; plush bedding and combed-cotton linens; Wolfgang Puck in-room gourmet coffee and tea service; and Crabtree & Evelyn Citron bath and body products.

Formerly an Embassy Suites hotel, the property features 6,000 sq. ft. of  meeting space, 24-hour self-service business center and complimentary printing service that includes print-from-room convenience. A 24-hour fitness facility and an indoor heated swimming pool are available.

The Plum Restaurant offers cuisine based on locally sourced and seasonal foods. The hotel also serves the brand’s signature Wake Up DoubleTree Breakfast. Room service is available during peak dining hours.

The hotel is owned by Zions Suites, a limited partnership, and operated by Suite Thinking, Inc.
