WASHINGTON—AmericInn is a founding partner in “Hotels for Heroes,” a new nationwide program that provides wounded U.S. troops and their families free hotel stays while undergoing treatment.

“Hotels for Heroes” also allows frequent travelers to donate their hotel guest loyalty points by logging into their AmericInn account and accessing the “redeem” and “donation” tabs. The program was launched by government, military and foundation leaders here.

Fisher House Foundation—an organization in support of America’s veterans, wounded troops and their families—is administering the program. It will pool donations of AmericInn Easy Rewards points, in addition to points donated from other participating hotel companies.

AmericInn regularly supports members of the military and their families with special initiatives (such as shipping care packages to troops, as well as preparing gift items, tote bags and bicycles for military family members), donations and the AmericInn Military Rate, a national military discount program at every location that applies to active and retired members of the military, as well as their dependents.
