The 131-room Wingate by Wyndham, Lynchburg, VA, is now managed by Hotel Equities.

ATLANTA—Hotel Equities has acquired the management contract for the 131-room Wingate by Wyndham hotel in Lynchburg, VA.

The property is adjacent to Liberty University, which recently bought the hotel and brought Hotel Equities on board as the management company, bringing the company’s portfolio in Virginia to five properties.

The Wingate features complimentary breakfast, a business center, meeting rooms, fitness facility and outdoor pool. The property, built in 1998, was completely renovated in 2009 and stands across from Liberty University's year-round ski slope at Libery Mountain Slowflex Center.

Liberty University, the world's largest Christian university, chose Hotel Equities, founded on Christian principles by President and CEO Fred Cerrone in 1989, due to shared values.
