Lakeway Resort and Spa Acquired by Carlyle Group and Dow Hotel

AUSTIN, TX/SEATTLE—The Dow Hotel Company and The Carlyle Group’s Carlyle Realty Partners VI have acquired the Lakeway Resort and Spa near Austin, TX.

Additionally, the owners plan to invest more than $5 million to complete a renovation that was started by the previous ownership group.

The property features 174 guestrooms, suites and villas. It also offers the San Saba Spa, water activities and tennis with 24 outdoor courts and two indoor climate-controlled courts. In addition, it features more than 24,000 sq. ft. of meeting and function space.
