BAR HARBOR, ME—The West Street Hotel has opened here.
The new hotel features a rooftop pool; Paddy’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, which is decorated from Irish-imported wood and authentic decor; and access to the Bar Harbor Club, Maine’s historic private club that offers guests a spa, clay tennis courts, pool and Jacuzzi.
The guestrooms offer dark Lexington furnishings, leather sitting chairs, artwork, textiles and private-seating balconies, all in a nautical design. The rooms also feature Venetian mosaic tile accents in the bathroom, refrigerators, iPod docking stations, flat-screen HD TVs and WiFi.
Additionally, the West Street Hotel supports the Bar Harbor Food Pantry, donating the entire room revenue from the first night of operation to the pantry.
