DUBAI, U.A.E/MCLEAN, VA—Hilton Worldwide has signed an agreement with Egyptian Touristic Resorts LLC to introduce two new premium Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties in Cairo and Alexandria.
The properties, the 390-room Hilton Giza Pyramids in Cairo and the 195-room Hilton Alexandria King’s Ranch Resort in Alexandria, will be the 19th and 20th Hilton Worldwide properties to open in the country, respectively.
Hilton Giza Pyramids, which will be the sixth property in Cairo, will feature 390 rooms, 18 of which are suites. The hotel will feature a function room, two boardrooms, four meeting rooms, a business center, health club and spa and an outdoor pool. Additionally, it will feature restaurants with all-day dining and three specialty options as well as a lobby lounge and destination bar. It will open in 2016.
The Hilton Alexandria King’s Ranch Resort is part of Alexandria’s growing King’s Ranch development. The hotel, located near the Borg Al Arab International Airport, will feature a function room, four meeting rooms, a business center and both an outdoor and indoor pool. There will be a specialty restaurant on-site, in addition to an all-day dining option, as well as an executive lounge, destination bar and lobby lounge. The property is the brand’s second in Alexandria. It will open at the end of 2013.
