SOUTH LUANGWA, ZAMBIA—Norman Carr Safaris will open a green luxury lodge on the Luangwa River.
Located on the river’s banks, the Chinzombo will be located just upstream from Norman Carr Safaris’ flagship, Kapani Lodge.
Silvio Rech and Lesley Carstens will serve as the lodge’s architects. Construction on the property has begun, and it will be completed in late 2012.
To be opened in January 2013, Chinzombo will feature six villas, one which will be a suite for families and groups. Each suite will have a private pool, cooled sleeping areas, spa amenities and Internet connections.
