ATLANTA—IHG and Group Presidente have opened the Presidente InterContinental Santa Fe in Mexico City, which is the tallest building in the area.
The project was a $35-million investment that created 200 jobs during construction and 350 jobs for the operation of the hotel and its restaurants.
The property offers 111 rooms, including 26 suites, which all feature a contemporary feel. Additionally, the hotel features six meeting rooms, an art gallery, seven stories of office facilities and six restaurants with cuisines that range from Mexican to Asian to French. The hotel also has a gym, boutique, spa and salon, a terrace bar, Club Lounge and valet parking.
It is owned by an investment fund and managed by Grupo Presidente under a license agreement with a subsidiary of IHG. This is IHG’s 12th branded hotel in Mexico.
