BATON ROUGE, LA–IHG has opened a 93-room Hotel Indigo here, the upscale boutique brand’s first flag in Louisiana.
The Hotel Indigo Baton Rouge Downtown Riverfront occupies an historic building that dates from the 1920s and originally housed the Hotel King.
The hotel is owned by Project King, LLC, which invested $25 million in the conversion. It is managed by locally-based Nu Vieux, LLC.
The property is the first of four Hotel Indigos scheduled to open in Louisiana by the middle of 2012.
