Expedia Teams Up With Green Key Global To Showcase “Green” Hotels

HORSHAM, PA—Expedia has partnered with Green Key Global and its Green Key Eco-Rating Program for hotels in order to allow hotels listed on Expedia to showcase their commitment to environmentally sustainable hotel operations.

This agreement is part of Expedia’s efforts to upgrade the resources available to eco-conscious travelers within the expedia.com website and the “Traveler’s Guide to Going Green” micro site. Green Key hotel members can highlight their participation in the program by registering via Expedia Partner Central.

Expedia has designated Green Key as a recognized third-party validated certification program. According to Green Key, its eco-rating program is the first of its kind to rank, certify and audit hotels and resorts based on their commitment to sustainable green operations.
