NEW YORK—The Strand is holding its grand opening here today in New York.
A member of the Green Hotel Association, The Strand is a 20-story tower featuring 177 guestrooms and junior suites.
The hotel, located at 33 West 37th St., is the newest addition to the Atlantic Stars Hotels and Cruises portfolio which operates boutique hotel and cruises in New York City, Martha's Vineyard, South Beach, FL, Newport, R, and the Caribbean.
The hotel's rooftop lounge, Top of the Strand, features a retractable glass ceiling and walls. The lounge is open to both guests and the general public and features a full-service bar.
Additional guest amenities at The Strand include a cardio-fitness room with an area dedicated to massage and spa treatments, a meeting and conference floor with capacity for groups up to 250 persons, a business center and a reading lounge with library.
