 MCLEAN, VA— HOTEL BUSINESS® has learned that Hilton Worldwide has placed Steven Goldman, president of global development and real estate, on administrative leave.

A Hilton spokesman declined to comment on the matter.

Goldman joined Hilton in March 2008, following executive positions at Sunstone Hotel Investors, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, and Hyatt Hotels & Resorts.

Matt Richardson, Hilton global head of architecture, design, and construction, has been named interim head of real estate.
