LOCUST GROVE, GA—Red Roof’s first new NextGen prototype property has made its premier here. The 64-room, newly constructed property is a franchise.

According to Red Roof, the NextGen prototype provides cost-effective economy lodging in a modern, boutique format. Eight NextGen hotels are now under construction and 25 are under contract and set to rise. A total of 50 NextGen properties are in the pipeline.

The Locust Grove property offers bathrooms with granite countertops, vessel sinks and spa-inspired rain-flow showers; and guestrooms with wireless Internet, flat-screen televisions and jack packs. The hotel also features a game room, complimentary coffee and deluxe continental breakfast. The property does not yet feature the NextGen prototype’s exterior façade.

The next prototype property will open in Beaumont, TX, in June. SouthCorp. is the developer.
