NEW YORK- HOTEL BUSINESS® held its annual Management Company Executive Roundtable today at the Radisson Lexington here with a focus on defining effective operating strategies in a challenging economy.

The event—which was hosted by Carlson Hotels Worldwide and sponsored by Arthur J. Gallagher & Company—also addressed key issues such as recapturing lost meeting business and cutting costs at the property level without impacting the guests.

Participants included Thomas Conran of Richfield Hospitality; Atul Patel of HMB Management; Kirby Payne of HVS/American Hospitality Management Co.; Mark Rosinsky, The Dow Hotel Company; Naveen Kakarla of Hersha Hospitality Management; Mike Marshall, Marshall Hotels & Resorts; Jim Evans, Ardent Hotel Advisors; Charles Peck, Destination Hotels and Resorts; Leo Spriggs, Hospitality Management Corp.; as well as Nancy Johnson and Steve Hedberg from Carlson Hotels Worldwide.
