LAKELAND, FL—Shaner Hotel Group has broken ground here on its newest owned Marriott Fairfield Inn and Suites, marking the beginning of a two-year growth and development plan for Shaner in Florida, according to the company.
The property, scheduled to soft open in early to mid-December—with an official grand opening set for January 4—is one of seven to be completed by 2010.
The 87-room, 44,000-square-foot Fairfield, located approximately 30 minutes from Raymond James Stadium, will include a spa and outdoor pool, along with the traditional amenities offered by Marriott.
