BEVERLY HILLS, CA— In conjunction with its appointment of ex-Sunstone Hotel Investors President and CEO Steven Goldman as its new president of global development and real estate, Hilton Hotels Corp. has also promoted three other executives.

Ian Carter, who has been the CEO of Hilton International, will now take on the newly created role of president of global operations. In addition, Tim Harvey is adding shared brand services to his current chief information officer role, and Mark Wang, the current head of Hilton Grand Vacations for Asia, has been named president of Hilton Grand Vacations.

In Carter’s new position he will be responsible for global operations, sales and revenue management.

Earlier in the week, Thomas Keltner, Hilton’s CEO for the Americas and global brands, announced in a published report that he will step down from that position in June, although he will continue on in an advisory role for the company. According to Hilton there are no plans to replace Keltner.

All of these changes come on the heels of Chris Nassetta’s assumption of Hilton’s president and CEO role three months ago following his tenure as CEO of Host Hotels & Resorts.
