WASHINGTON, DC—Crestline Hotels & Resorts LLC has opened a new hotel, Twelve & K Hotel, in Washington, DC. Formerly the Four Points by Sheraton Washington, DC, the 265-room, upscale hotel will continue to be managed by Crestline Hotels & Resorts.
The Twelve & K Hotel is located in the district’s business center and is four blocks from the convention center. It is near to the Metro station, the revitalized Penn Quarter Arts and Entertainment District and the Verizon Center, home of the Washington Capitals, Wizards and Mystique. Other nearby attractions include the White House (1/2 mile); the National Mall (one mile); and the new Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial (three miles).
Twelve & K Hotel has 261 king and queen guestrooms and four suites, all furnished with a 32-in. flat panel LCD TV, work area, free high speed Internet access and complimentary bottled water. Hotel amenities include 9,400 sq. ft. of meeting space, including a 6,152-sq.-ft. ballroom; in-room dining; the District Grill Restaurant & Bar; and a rooftop pool and deck.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
