MIAMI, FL—Interval International, an operating business of Interval Leisure Group, has affiliated with The Palm at Playa, a boutique hotel in Playa del Carmen.
“As a leading vacation destination, Mexico is known for providing visitors warm hospitality and some of the highest quality shared ownership accommodations,” stated Marcos Agostini, Interval’s SVP of resort sales and business development for Latin America. “The Palm at Playa reflects these attributes and we are delighted to add it to our global vacation exchange network.”
Alfonso Montes, president of Carmenika S.A. de C.V., built the property. Designed with clean lines and an open plan, The Palm at Playa features an elegant contemporary design and organic color palette. The property has 69 studio, one- and three-bedroom units that include premium bedding, 40-in. LCD TV and complimentary WiFi.
According to the company, the resort’s crowning feature is a rooftop terrace with swimming pool, bar and hot tub that offers views of the Caribbean Sea and the Island of Cozumel. Other amenities include two restaurants, The Roof Grill, and Calle Ocho, which serves a Mediterranean cuisine with a Mexican flair, a gym and a spa. Guests can schedule spa services in one of the treatment suites, outdoors on the rooftop or in their own units.
