Developed by IMB Group, Four Points by Sheraton Makassar is scheduled to open by May of 2015, and will mark the company's entry onto the island of Sulawesi. The hotel will feature two towers with a total of 261 guest rooms. Upon completion, the hotel is expected to have the largest convention in Makassar.
"As Southeast Asia's largest economy and world's fourth most populous country, Indonesia is one of the fastest growth markets for Starwood, and we look forward to opening our first hotel in the capital of South Sulawesi province," stated Chuck Abbott, regional vp, Southeast Asia, Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
