Radisson Opens New Hotel in Rio de Janeiro

RIO DE JANEIRO—Radisson has opened Radisson Hotel Barra, Rio de Janeiro here.
The property features 196 guestrooms and 96 suites with balconies. Dom Rosso, an on-site dining option, serves international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as at the pool bar, Palmeiras. There is also a bar in the hotel’s lobby.
The spa, Villa Spa, offers dry and steam saunas, hot tubs and bungalows. The property also features a fitness center and squash court.
11,960 sq. ft. of meeting and event space is available, as well as complimentary high-speed Internet, the company added.
Radisson’s COO Javier Rosenberg said, “We are excited about this expansion in anticipation of the upcoming World Cup as well as the Olympic games in 2016 and are pleased to welcome a hotel that is perfect for both business and leisure guests.”
