BANGKOK—Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Bangkok, located in Sukhumvit, will open May 2014, becoming the first Radisson Blu in the city.
The hotel is the latest addition to the brand’s portfolio of more than 368 hotels in operation and development. Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Bangkok offers 290 guestrooms and suites with views of the city. All rooms have essential in-room technology including free Internet.
An array of meeting facilities ranging from a 420 square meter pillar-less ballroom with a pre-function area that has floor-to-ceiling views of Bangkok, to smaller meetings spaces including The Suite, with a built-in show kitchen, and The Gallery, a multi-functional space suited to elaborate décor installations for sophisticated receptions, are available to fit every organizer’s needs.
Peter Schuler, General Manager, Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok said, “We are excited to be the first Radisson Blu hotel in Bangkok, one of the most vibrant cities in Asia. When travelers plan a trip to Bangkok, they expect an engaging, memorable experience enveloped in local flavor. Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Bangkok provides the perfect offering of first class accommodation at the heart of business, the heart of flavors with unparalleled dining choices and at the heart of lifestyle and leisure experiences.”
